SUMMARY:Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This year\, because of our inability to meet in person\, we wil
 l hold our Annual Meeting via Zoom\, following our Sunday service on May 3
 1\, 2020.  After the service\, we will use the Zoom meeting link for our n
 ormal post-service gathering. We can take some time for candles\, and then
  our annual meeting will take place.  As with our other Zoom meetings\, yo
 u can participate either with an electronic device or by telephone.\n\nThe
  Zoom link for the meeting will be the link on our website for the May 31 
 after-service gathering.  \n\nNancy Kurtz\,\nClerk\n\nHere is the warrant:
 \n\nWARRANT\n\nFor an Annual Meeting of the Congregation of the Unitarian 
 Universalist Church of Medford to be held May 31\, 2020 at 12:00 noon\, or
  immediately following church services by means of video and phone confere
 ncing through the Zoom platform. This meeting will be held virtually\, rat
 her than in-person\, because of health concerns created by the coronavirus
  pandemic\, the recommendation of public health professionals and the Comm
 onwealth that people engage in “physical distancing” and the Commonwea
 lth of Massachusetts order prohibiting in-person gatherings above 10 perso
 ns. The Zoom link and other instructions will be distributed prior to the 
 Sunday service on May 31\, 2020. \n\nGREETINGS\n\nTo the members of the Un
 itarian Universalist Church of Medford\, Massachusetts:  You are hereby no
 tified that the Annual Meeting will take place in the Sanctuary on Sunday\
 , the 31st of May\, 2020\, at 12:00 noon\, or immediately following Church
  services\, at which time and place the following articles are to be acted
  upon and determined exclusively by Voting Members\, in accordance with an
 d subject to the bylaws of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford.\n
 \nTo choose a moderator\;\n\nTo act upon the minutes of the congregational
  meetings of May 19\, 2019 and December 8\, 2019\;\n\nTo receive and act u
 pon the written or oral annual reports of the the Board of Trustees\, the 
 Director of Religious Education\, the Music Director\, and various committ
 ees\;\n\nTo receive a report from the Board of Trustees regarding any expe
 nditures beyond the previously approved 2019-2020 operating budget\;   			
 \n\nTo accept and approve the proposed financial operating budget for 2020
 -2021\;\n\nTo accept nominations and vote on candidates for the offices of
  Trustee\, Treasurer\, Assistant Treasurer\, Clerk\, Collector\, and Nomin
 ating Committee\; \n\nTo elect delegates to the General Assembly of the Un
