Summer Sunday Service In-Person: Fourth of July

Join us for our summer Sunday Service led by member Steve Schmidt.

The Fourth of July celebrates the independence of the United States of America from the British monarch.  But just what is independence?  The Declaration, flawed though it is, was and remains a remarkable statement of political ideals.  Today’s service will take note of some of those flaws and ask the additional question of how US citizens remain independent in a culture of fake news, racism, intolerance, wealth inequality, and overconsumption.

We will be gathering in-person – outside in the yard of the Osgood House (141 High Street) next to the church building.
