Order of Service

Born in Paris and blinded in an accident at the age of seven, Jacques Lusseyran never lost his sense of vision. Guided by the vivid, ongoing experience of an inner light, he drew upon prodigious gifts of stillness, empathy and emotional intelligence to make his way in the world. In the face of Nazi occupation, he played a central role in creating and leading a youth resistance movement. Today’s sermon traces the path and significance of an exemplary life.
