Sunday Service: Julia Ward Howe’s Mother’s Day as a Peace Day

Unitarian abolitionist, suffragist, and writer Julia Ward Howe wrote a Mother’s Day Peace Declaration after the carnage of the Civil War. On Mother’s Day, we will take time to celebrate her work and pray or meditate for peace.
