Just as no two flowers are the same, no two people are the same. Everyone has their own unique beauty. If Norbert Čapek had done nothing more than create our flower communion, he would still be remembered. But he and his wife, Mája, are no mere footnotes to our tradition; they embody its ideals. In marking the 100th anniversary of the flower communion, we will see how a progressive faith could take root in Nazi-occupied Europe, and continue to flourish to this day.
You are invited to bring a flower to this service, to share with members and friends, and take home a different one than you brought.
