Sunday Service

Join us for our Sunday Service led by Will McMillan, Carole Bundy, and Molly Ruggles.

Irving Berlin wrote over 1200 songs and lived to be 101 years old. Having escaped as a child from religious persecution in the Russian Empire, Mr. Berlin grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and ended up marrying a Roman-Catholic debutante. In honor of Memorial Day, we will share stories about Mr. Berlin’s activities during WWI and WWII and explore how a Jewish immigrant came to write beloved standards such as “White Christmas” and “Easter Parade.”
