Join our music director Alex Cumming as we explore the traditions of May Day from his homeland of England through song, music, and dance. Our choir will perform, along with our own piano maestro Molly Ruggles and guest performers ‘Harbour Steel’, Medford’s own sword dance team.
We will also look at the spiritual side of May Day; growth, rebirth and seeding our intentions for the coming months, a large part of Alex’s Pagan upbringing.
Please then stay afterward for our next Family Dance!
It is our tradition to sing a few hymns before the service to warm up our spirits. All are welcome to join us for “Morning Song” at approximately 10:50 in the sanctuary. Our worship service begins at 11.
After the service, join us for coffee and refreshments in the fellowship hall. All are welcome.
