The Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford reaffirms that Black Lives Matter. UUCM flies the Black Lives Matter flag outside of our building to communicate our belief that individual and systemic racism must be actively confronted and eliminated for there to be equality, peace, and justice in the nation, and the world. It is a call to us as a society to honor the dignity and worth of every human being, which is a fundamental principle of Unitarian Universalism.
To bear witness to this affirmation and our commitment to racial justice, the church will host ongoing peaceful anti-racism demonstrations in front of the church from 5:00-6:00 pm every Tuesday. All are welcome to join the demonstration.
