Music is an important part of worship and celebration in our congregation. Our music director, Molly Ruggles, is a pianist/singer/composer/choral leader who collaborates with volunteers and guests to provide a rich expression of the human spirit through diverse kinds of music. We are also blessed to have a number of talented musicians in our congregation who will contribute instrumental and vocal performances, as well as original compositions.  On any given Sunday, you might hear folk music, jazz, classical, or a song from African tribal life.

Choir
The choir at the UU Church of Medford is made up of members and friends of the congregation who sing during the Sunday service around twice a month from September to June as well as on a few special occasions. Anyone is welcome to join the choir! There are no auditions, and music-reading skills are not required.  Opportunities to sing with the choir will be posted on our calendar.

Music Events

Periodically throughout the year we will have music-themed events including family dances and concerts.  Keep an eye out for these on our calendar as they are always fun and engaging.
