Dear UUCM Friends:

This year we invite you to be part of a small group experience with six to eight people who meet monthly through the church year, in-person or via Zoom, to focus on elements of our Spiritual Journeys. These are known a Touchstone Groups.

Our UUCM covenant says, “We commit to supporting each other’s Spiritual Journey”, but what does that mean? How do we as a church support each other’s journey?

There are two groups being offered. Each group meets once a month from September to May/June and I will be facilitating both of them.

1) ZOOM – 2nd Tuesday Evening each month, beginning October 14 at 7:15 pm.

2) In-PERSON – 4th Tuesday each month at CHURCH, 147 High Street, beginning September 30 at 7:15 pm. (This is the 5th Tuesday of the month.)

In each group, we will explore various elements that may be part of a personal spiritual journey. For example, one month we will focus on what some people call a Higher Power, or God/Goddess, or no name at all. Another month we will share about how Music touches our spirit. Another session will be related to Nature and another to Social Justice and Service, etc. We will be sharing from our own personal perspectives and experiences. Touchstone Groups are a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to share more deeply from the heart.
