Sometimes in life, we must play the role of the villain: to be cruel to be kind. We may be a devil’s advocate to strengthen a friend’s resolve, or we may purposely break some social norms to draw attention to an injustice. When done properly, we all grow stronger; but push the struggle too far and malice will spread to our unintended victims. In this service, we will explore our real-world impact on the subtle balance between good and evil.
