Blessings in the Gutter: This Sunday, pigeons! Descended from the same birds we call doves, pigeons invite us to question what we label as beautiful, sacred, or disposable. As spring emerges in both blossoms and gutter, we’ll reflect on abandonment, resilience, and the holy presence in what we often overlook. Maybe the sacred isn’t always where we expect it. Maybe it’s already here—in the ordinary, the disregarded, the stubbornly alive.
