Join us for a Sunday Service led by Rev. Tess Baumberger.
Courage and Aging: We tend to think of courage with regard to great and important acts, but what about the ordinary courage it takes to face aging and death? This Sunday, Rev. Tess draws on the wisdom of poets, who speak to the heart more than to the head, as well as from her years as a hospice chaplain to address this everyday sort of courage. The Time for All Ages will draw on AA Milne, whose Pooh stories were first printed 100 years ago. Piglet meets a Heffalump, and teaches us a lot about how to be brave.
Rev. Tess Baumberger was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 2003, and since then has served both in congregations and in hospital and hospice settings. She currently services the First Universalist Church of Essex, Massachusetts and is involved in social justice around trans and immigrant rights. She enjoys knitting and cooking in her free time.
Please note that Sunday Services will now begin at 10:30am, with Morning Songs beginning at 10:25am.
